Notes for: Peter Nickel

He migrated from Prussia to Kronsweide, Chortitza, S. Russia in 1789 (P. Rempel, p. 24). In the 1795 and 1801 Chortitza Colony Censuses he is listed at Kronsweide #14 (B. H. Unruh, p. 242). Listed with him in the 1795 Census but not in the 1801 Census are two foster children: Johann (b. ca 1782) and Anna (b. ca 1783).
