Notes for: Maria Kristina Peters

Maria Peters was born in 1781 (or 1782) and therefore could not have had any children with her first husband JOHAN DRIEDGER, who already had a number of children with his first wife Katharina BERGEN. In GRANDMA 3 where Johan Driedger's children are listed with MARIA as their mother, she would have actually been their STEPMOTHER. Maria was married to Mr. Driedger for a very short time before he died at about age 48.

Note that Maria Peters married her second husband JACOB DeFEHR TWO MONTHS AFTER Johan Driedger died. She and Jacob de FEHR would have raised at least the oldest of the children that Johan Driedger had had with his first wife KATHARINA BERGEN. Isaac, Jacob and Peter are actually listed as stepsons of Jacob de FEHR (Odessa Archives).
